Privacy Policy

Summary

Memoro is software that runs on your own computer. We (the developer) do not run any server that receives, stores or processes your memories, and we do not have access to them.

Where your data is stored

Your memories and status cards are stored in a database on your computer (in your Windows user folder). If you turn on the optional cloud bridge, a copy is stored in a Cloudflare Worker and D1 database in your own Cloudflare account, which you control. AI assistants you connect (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Perplexity) receive the parts of your memory they read through Memoro's tools; their own privacy policies apply to that.

Network connections the app makes

License check: when you activate Pro, the license key and an anonymous device label are sent to Polar (polar.sh), our payment provider, to verify it; this is re-checked about every two weeks. Update check: the app asks GitHub for the latest version number. Search model: on first run the app may download a small open-source text model from Hugging Face. Cloud bridge (optional): connections between your computer and your own Cloudflare account.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Polar as merchant of record. We receive your email address and order details from Polar; we never see your card details.

No ads, no tracking, no data sales

The app contains no advertising or analytics trackers, and we never sell or share data. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Your control

You can pause recording, search, export or delete any memory in the control panel at any time. Uninstalling keeps your data folder unless you delete it.
